You're forgetting call of duty, rainbow 6 series, medal of honour series, stalker, farcry, painkiller, fear, half life series, enemy territory, ghost recon and a few more, could also add quake 4 onto that list. These games are still supported today, what fps other than halo is there on a console that's still supported and widely played?
Call of Duty was outstanding, CoD 2 was better on consoles and CoD3 (although made by Treyarch) sucked.
Rainbow Six was awesome, unfortunately its many sequels never (though Vegas was a nice return).
Medal of Honour was excellent on consoles, Allied Assault was excellent on PC. However the numerous others on PC sucked (unless you are wanting me to mention the awards winners Frontline and Big Red One on consoles...).
FarCry was outstanding, however it had a poor multiplayer and editors, so the mod support wasn't thriving.
Painkiller was a mindnumbing blast which only entertained when you stake people to walls.
Fear was a massive letdown. It also ran better on Xbox360... but it still wasn't great.
Half Life is probably the greatest game of all time, I wasn't much of a fan of the physics showcase that's HL2 though. Of course, HL wasn't popular online... it's mod community was though.
Enemy Territory was a great add-on to a very average game (Return to Castle Wolfenstein - and yes, I know it was released seperately in the end).
Ghost Recons newer incarnations are vastly superior on consoles than their PC equivalents.
Quake 4 sucked ass, it was a major let down to the greatness that were it's forerunners, Quakes 1 through 3. Online was better, but still poor... it was also released on Xbox360.
So aside from the MANY games you named there that are not only on Xbox360 but PLAY better on Xbox360 I would say there are more, including The Darkness which is one of the finest FPS' I've played in the last 5-10 years.
Console gamers only know halo.
Wrong, and a mile wide too. I'm a gamer. Not a Console gamer, not a PC gamer. I have no boundaries. I own a PC, Xbox360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite and a PSP.
So trying to pigeon hole me won't work, not only because I feel I play on a level playing field by supporting all systems, I also buy all my games, play a lot of games, aim to work IN games and I have a very, very good knowledge of games.
There is a huge choice on the pc that titles like UT have to beat down in order to gain the main top spots, which make them actual cream of the crop, whereas the case with halo, you may have one or two more games it has to compete with, but nothing to sweat about, this could be why ppl are happy with the low console fps standard.
Odd that something like Halo seems to smash so many records with new releases, comparative to anything on the PC bar maybe World of Warcraft.
I can only think that you are actually quite ignorant outside the small borders of PC gaming in which you play.
