I bought 2 years worth of live and it's now run out.

I'm pretty sure 48 hour trials don't work anymore. But my brother has an account that has only used one month of gold and he hasn't bought any live membership, would the trials work on his account?

How? It's still an offcial code, they wouldn't know any better.

He obviously buys so many in bulk (or something similar) that he gets them so cheap he can undercut everyone else and yet still make a profit on each.

Because I read this:

I advise not to buy them on eBay. I got ripped off as mine was created using a key-gen and Microsoft banned my account because of it. My gamerid will always be unrecoverable now which meant I had to create a new gamerid

I have a feeling the codes of the bay are fake. Reason being it would be extremely hard to scratch the code off the back of a legit card and email with in a few minutes. They might have them in a database but i would stay clear. I read on either here or dvdforums that someone saw them free on a website, makes me think they are keygened. Im only saying this so you have no chance of your account being banned.

Ive used the codes off auction sites for the two years i've had my xbox and haven't had any issues.

If they make excuses dont buy it.
