What's the cleverest thing you understand or know how to do?

I can explain density functional theory (an advanced physics methodology used to simulate quantum mechanics). I can explain and teach quantum mechanics to undergraduatge level. I am also proficient in programming for massively parallel supercomputers as well as being able to efficiently utilise advanced scientific programmes and understand the physical meaning behind the results.

Motherboard-level laptop repair and SMD replacement (if I have the proper tools of course).

Endless amounts of cash are available for people that can revive a dead laptop for £50, rather than the owner having to spend £300 on a new one.

Just a few from a very very long list... :)

1. I can do computational modelling of subsea pipelines/risers/structures/etc
2. Once completed Streetfighter II Champion Edition in the arcade with a pound
3. Completely gutted and renovated a house with the wife doing everything except gas pipes and plastering
4. Building (slowly) a toy car...

Which is a caterham, so infact you didn't build it you assembled it.

1: It's a Westfield, not a Caterham.
2: No, I built it - including building the ECU and building the engine.

Do Wimpy build houses or do they assemble them?

I can cook a three course dinner for thirty people to an exceptionally high standard, by my lonesome. I know how to play guitar with Tommy Emmanuel and Frank Vignola, because I have done it before. :p

Pretty impressive, wait you're not a chef are you?
Not really, but I do get paid to cook. My family run a farm/B+B/wedding venue, and lots of food is cooked and served to guests. I absolutely love food, and cooking and ended up getting lots of opportunity to do it for paying guests, which necessitated a high standard, and gave me lots of opportunity to hone my skills. But I have never had any training.

I can click my tongue exceptionally loudly, it sounds a bit like a campagne cork being popped but slightly higher pitched. Usually results in a few turning heads, to which I'll just shrug and say I have a powerful tongue, accompanied by a twitch of the eyebrows and a knowing smile.

I have a very good sense of time and can often guess the time to within about ~10% accuracy (even indoors with no aids such as position of the sun). i.e. say I look at a clock at 12:00, at 14:00 (120mins later) I will be able to guess the time within a ~12min window.

In terms of technical stuff it is hard to pinpoint anything. I'm fairly good at DOS/Windows batch file scripting to automate processes I suppose.
I am reasonably well educated but have forgotten most of the clever stuff.

Macro program on a Fanuc control, competent at coding on the machine but can turn my hand to oneCNC and convert a 3D drawing into a part.

I can fix the machine the thing when it breaks too :)

I used to be fairly fluent in Fanuc, but switched to CMM rather than CNC so I can inspect whatever you're program creates, either from 3d model or drawing, I now can program in 5 different languages.
