Whats the DDR2 equivilent of DDR 3500LL Pro

I had 2GB of Corsair DDR 3500LL Pro in my previous rig ... when I flogged it off I bought 4GB DDR2 1150 for my current rig and still had change

So, what do you chaps reckon I should get 8GB of now that I can flog off for more than the 16 GB DDR3 will cost when I eventually have to get some of that with my next system upgrade :cool:

Oh, LEDs would be nice too!

you'd be lucky, I doubt we'll see the price differential of DDR1 to DDR2 again anytime soon.

I too had £200 worth of 3500LL pro and it was awesome memory but the way DDR2 has gone and DDR3 has sought to follow means you're just not going to pull that off again IMO.

i was crazy enough to by some 4400pro ram for my last 170 Opteron rig. had it running at 10x270 with memory 1:1 without breaking a sweat. Got a good price for that ram when i sold it off

DDR1 400mhz 2:2:2:5

DDR2 800mhz 4:4:4:10 or 12 (most are 12)

LOL...small world. I ran an Opty 165 at exactly the same speed. I think most of that stuff would hit about 270-274. Anything that binned higher was sold as the ultra rare PC4400 version.

IIRC I ran my 165 at 317x9 with a divider to 254 at fairly low latencies ... I am thinking that I may as well invest in 8GB of good stuff now to see me through to the next upgrade.

heh I kinda dont want to sell all of these I had great fun overclocking them. should be able to get enough for some rather nice DDR2 though.

Its sickening how much ram i have within 2 meters of where i sit 12gb or something lol even some 512mb sticks of 133 SDRAM which is as rare as rocking horse **** these days
