QVO has different flash chips with less write endurance, overall speed, reliability and warranty.

ahh ok,

Its just to act as a secondary (steam folder and other bits) drive so Ill get teh cheaper of the two. My motherboard is old so speed probably is irrelevant anyway.

You can get TLC drive for £10 less than that Samsung QLC drive.

Do either of those have a DRAM cache?

They are no slower than my 2x 860 PRO's in real use and a few double digits in ATTO right on or above the official speed from Samsung and the TBW is more than enough it will be out of date tech wide before it dies and in testing they went far higher than the official TWB without errors.

The 860 QVO, will only slow down after you saturate both the caches bellow (I own 3x 2TB's but the new price on that 4TB is a great deal (in another thread).
