Whats the difference?

The GT is G92

Yea I know, but it aint a GTS G92, it's a GT G92... 112pp instead of 128pp, so the 9800GX2 is a mahooosive nVidia marketing scam IMO...

1. It is NOT a proper 9800 (G98 Core)
2. Using G92 8800 series technology
3. Not even the top G92 technology (GTS)
4. Ram will be crap
5. 2x PCB's bolted together like Frankensteins monster!
6. If the old 7 series GX2 is anything to go by the drivers will suck harder than Tera Patrick!

So which is it? It seems even you cannot decide.

Still undecided? First you say that stabilty doesn't matter only the score.

Then you say in the next breath benching on an unstable system is bad!

no i said that benching on an unstable system is no worse than running prime and it failing

easy come easy go

Here we go again :p

What are the G92's, 8800's, when were the 8800's released, November 2006, so that makes the G92's what, yes over 1 year old tech, doesn't matter when they came out, as they are the exact same tech, just put on a smaller process, 9 series are yet more of the same, old 2006 tech. :)

If everyone wanted to buy a GTX/GTS/Ultra that used less power, and gave out less heat, they would have waited till now (2008) to buy them, they wouldn't have bought them way back in 2006 when they were released. :p

Its crap, we need something new now as were in 2008, please stop churning out cards from 2006. :(

bgrade means that its been used, has damage to the box, or has bits missing that would usually come with it, like the driver disk, or molex - PCIe adaptor

Right Loadsa, you've said this in every thread in the graphics section. I know that you rhink you are right but there's massive holes in your beliefs that you never did fill before.

The 2900 and the 3870 is a prime example of one of the major holes in your argument. You say that the G92 core is a just a die shrink of the G80 but the shader clocks and the core clocks of the G92 are a lot more capable than the G80 core. Now if this is just a die shrink then why no massive gains for the 3870 from 80nm to 55nm?. They overclock the same and give the exact same results.

Do you think if you say it enough that everyone will believe it?. You've probably said it more than 10-20 times in some threads alone and mention t about 40 times a day all over OCUK forums. I've kept my mouth shut and just left you get on with it but enough is enough as it's getting painful to read every bloody single day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
