There seems to be a constant stream of articles, documentaries and posts on social media about how people are doing things that are bad for their health or generally doing things incorrectly. I understand that 30 years ago if you wanted to learn about something you would have to either talk to someone who was an expert on the subject or perhaps get a book out. Now we have the internet.
Apparently people don't cook healthy meals because they don't know how and they need educating. Just go on the internet. Instead of spending 4 hours on facebook looking at cat videos, look up nutrition. We all have the tools to do this so what is the excuse.
I was just watching a documentary on people addicted to taking protein supplements. It takes literally 30 minutes to go online, figure out how much protein you should ingest for your body weight and the amount of exercise you are doing. The fitness industry is full of rubbish I know but there is a massive massive wealth of really good information out there. There are few other sports/pursuits that are taken as seriously as bodybuilding and diet.
So the question is why do we have such an issue with doing things properly when the information is literally at our fingertips. If I want to know how to do something I go online and I have hundreds of videos from experts on the subject.
I know that lots of topics are merely a matter of opinion but if you read a few things you should have a decent idea on a topic.
