What's the hardest you've ever laughed?

For me it's when I was in church at school and my friend let rip in the middle of a prayer. I couldn't stop snort laughing.

Unfortunately for me my sense of humour is sensitive to 1. inappropriate situations and 2. lavatorial type.

The more inappropriate the situation the funnier for me. E.g. funerals.

Hopefully there are some better examples anyway. What single situation or thing has made you laugh the hardest in your life so far?

You're a victim of the "Giggleloop" (Great TV show) https://www.snotr.com/video/6244/The_Giggle_Loop

I don't laugh as much as I should but there are a few times that stick out for me.

For me, watching Friday at my dad's house when I was about 11, not only was the film funny but my 9-year-old brother laughed so hard he actually wet himself.

More recently, a couple of years ago I was sat next to the wife on the sofa annoying her, as you do. I had a piece of string that I was flicking over her head/face, it'd be going on for about 15 mins and she was really ****** off by this point. As I flicked it again she made a massive forceful grab for it and punched herself in the face. I roared with laughter until I couldn't breathe any more.

My 3 year old son finds his 'winky' hilarious, last week I turned around to find him standing next to me, hand down his pj's and making actions that if he was a teenager I would've told him would make him blind :D

To which he would have replied "Dad I'm over here"

This scene in Bruce Almighty is up there. Me and my dad were in fits for a good portion of the film after this - Steve Carell is hilarious!

I dont understand how people watch this sort of crap let alone find it hysterical. :p

I think it was the unexpectedness that caught us off guard. Was hilarious though! Each to their own when it comes to comedy I suppose.

  • I remember been 9 or 10 and getting a bollocking by the headmistress for one thing or another. I had my hands clasped behind my back and my fingers got bored. There was something behind me, but i didn't know what and so i started touching it, i soon found out when i hit a button sending the typewriter carriage shooting across and giving the 'DING!' when it finished its journey. I was mortified at first, but then just lost it - snot and tears or laughter.

OMG :D this got me in the office this morning lol

I know there's a couple but can only remember this one right now.

one was playing Rockband in the small hours of the morning with 2 mates(over xbox live). One mate has just got the game and has a short temper. He's playing drums on easy and still is missing notes, start's getting mad, me and other mate start giggling because he's raging. He gets more mad, we want to laugh harder but are both trying to remain quiet, mad friend is now shouting down the mic and we just lose our ****/burst out laughing. Definitely in tears crying that time.

It's not that you're not normal, you're just wrong..

Nope, his older shows are absolutely brilliant, I still watch them from time to time and burst out laughing on the tube. But then I like surreal humour and story building, which is also why I like Ross Noble.

Izzard's new stuff is terrible though, like Amy Schumer terrible.

For my friend: It was the video of a Rhino spinning it's tail while taking a ****. He laughed so hard he fainted.

For me: It was watching my friend laugh so hard he fainted. Could barely breath and felt like I was going to have a hernia. Good times.

First time Sam Kinnison popped up on the TV. An extremely serious domestic argument was going on between my mum and sister because my mum had just found out (underage) sister was going out on dates with a much older man (like 40 years old). I was watching channel 4 on the other corner of the sofa, Saturday Night Live or some such thing, and on comes Sam, the instant he started with the screaming rant I completely lost it. I think I was made to leave the room.

The other time was when I bought the first Viz book (Big Hard One), I'd never seen Viz before but heard about it and missed the first issues so I bought the book on a trip to Manchester. Got on the train home, sat down on the packed carriage, opened the first page, saw the 'Come to the shops dear..' and that was it, I was in a blubbering heap for the entire journey home.

Reading a Jimmy Saville pun where it was "Have you been molested by Jimmy Saville? Then you might be entitled to compensation. To opt IN, text "Now then Now then" to 6094U. Top opt OUT, text "STOP.....Jimmy stop"

Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps - blue beer

My ex stating that someone looked like a hypocrite, thinking this was the non-shortened version of hippie.

Many others involving Kevin Bridges and Mickey Flannagan.

Playing a game to pass time on the motorway, making up insults based on the three letters of the numberplate.

Came up with "Another Winkle Overlord" Lost it for it for a while, not sure why.. probably because we'd been playing it for a while :D

Went on a night out where the theme was "dress a mate".
Mate 2 dressed mate 1, I was in hysterics for about 5-10 minutes.
I think Mate 1s completely unimpressed face was what made it soooo much funnier. Looking at the picture of him now the fancy dress wasnt even that bad, but I am laughing in the picture because I couldn't keep a straight face.
