Whats the Merc used as SC in F1 ?

They should have got the Type R-R out. 260BHP... though the distinct lack of roofscoop immediately showed it wasn't the RR. That would get the medics there in quick time.

That car is not released and I've only seen 2 articles regarding it so I'm not sure how official it is....also it won't be released in the US or Canada so it wouldn't be shown on the Canadian GP. (it's based off of the weirdass euro spaceship civic model)

Wow, a whole 260bhp. Positively pedestrian compared to the current medical car :)

:( Well, isn't the main medical car usually a Merc too? So yes, no doubt it's some 400bhp+ fire breathing beast like the safety car, though yesterday the Civic Si made an appearance, surely that miniscule 260 in the non-released R-R is higher than in the Si? I dunno, can't be arsed to check but certainly better looking and more suited.

The Civic is FWD....ever tried driving a 300hp fwd vehicle? it's not easy.

Yes the USDM civic Si is rated at 197hp....but getting a k20z to 260+bhp is not very hard at all.

As he said, I can confirm it was the US/Canadian Civic SI running 197bhp.

However no such thing as a Civic Type-RR. This was Auto Cars (i think it was that mag) name for the JAS motorsport Civic Type-R which is like £65k as its race legal (what racing I do not know). But is very light so 270bhp in a light car = fast. Bit like a motor bike engine in a kit car which can embarass lot of cars ;)
