What's the most cutting edge android currently?

android L will have a few nice changes with regard to camera operation. i think that'll be a nice decider for people on the fence between ios and android.

was chatting with a chap at an awards doo the other week and was asking his opinion on the iphone, says it was great apart from the camera he has had a 4 and 5s both in his opinion took rubbish pics. Maybe the 6 is better ?

I don't think it's fair to say the camera on the One M8 is naff. It's extremely good at specific things. Get pretty good snappies with it on the go.

It's a social camera and almost as if it was aimed at night life in particular.

Most people dismiss it because it's a silly camera. 'Ultrapixels' are pure marketing guff. The M8 sacrifices detail and digital zoom for low light performance, but in testing it doesn't perform particularly well in low light (see DPReview, DxOMark reviews). It's beaten by phones packing OIS, which take better low-light pics without sacrifices to performance elsewhere.

The camera on my nieces iPhone 5s has taken some quality snaps with very smooth video...

The note 3 footage was jerky and suffered micro stutter ...it's got to be butter smooth IMO....

It looks like you just want to buy an iPhone! :)

I got home from a long drive tried to snapchat my daughter a video of the dog just to stay I'm back safely....

Snap chat crashed so I had to update play services then snapchat then reboot....tried again and the video kept crashing and my phone kept freezing...

So I smashed my s2 against the wall in a fit of rage and utter frustration...

Bye bye s2 it has been emotional but you no longer have what it takes in 2014

Wow sounds like that S2 was such a loyal companion, quite the betrayal to smash it against a wall like that. Could have at least given it a peaceful send-off!
