That DOES look sexy. What's it made of?

I can't afford more than £50, and am also looking for a new case!

It's plastic and steel, but for £32 it's very well made. It also features two high quality 120mm fans and it's mostly tool-free. If you're not an 'aluminium or nothing' type then it will probably do you very well indeed.

The way I read the top post was what's the sexiest case under £100. I happen to really like this one.

WJA96 I am guessing you got to try out a Zen then?

Yes - I had to build up 5 cheap-ish PCs for a design studio and they wanted Mac-a-likes and I have to say that the Zen, matched up with the bigger Apple monitors, does look very good indeed.

Internally it's very simple to work with and, as you say, no sharp edges. The two 120mm fans are pretty quiet and for the price, it's pretty much untouchable if you don't want a Lanboy.

I dont know, that looks a little cheapy to me.

It looks better in the flesh, and the plastic is the same stuff the Apple Macs are made from and no-one says they look or feel cheap. It's not aluminium though, if that's what you meant.

ok, as I'm going for an upgrade I think I'll leave my trusty Juno P3 full tower case behind.

Wow, that's a rave from the grave! Got rid of my modded P3 about four years ago after a couple of years.

I'd have to say the Coolermaster Praetorian - at least that's what I plan to get next. I use Antec/Chieftec cases for my farm upstairs, but I need a case that fits in my (IKEA-styled) living room for the machine in there.

after reading this have ordere the PC-7 Black, was oppting for the Therm Armour Jnr , but seems this case is the fav among loads :) n1 :)

I have a Antec Super Lanboy for 1 rig, and its a great case thats only £35 inc VAT on OCuk at the moment! Its quiet, being aluminium its easy to upgrade, and light as an Aero! I put an extra 120mm fan in the top, but if you are willing to ditch a CD bay, I am sure you could fit a 120mm rad in the top and one on the back below the PSU! This is what I was going to do for my conroe rig!

But I have a NZXT Lexa for that! Which is lovely, but out of budget!! I have fitted a 120.2 rad in the top in front of the PSU, had to lose 2 CD bays! Got a 120 rad at the back under the PSU, which was a tight fit! Couple fo UV lamps and the cooling glows nice, the silver front is really plush and the temp gauges work! And look good!
I did have a problem with the temp display being wrong when I got it, but a quick email the NZXT and proof of purchase sent and a nice new display was recieved 2 days later! And it works!!!

If you are happy with only 2 HDD's you can fit a DDC-1plus with plexi res in the bay below them! Will post pics soon!

Yes - I had an ATX PSU to power the computing stuff and an old AT PSU to run the fans. The AT switch was fitted into the end of the baybuss that controlled the fan speeds. I cut two holes in the side for extra fans, and cut away a lot of the grilles over the existing fan holes which restricted the air flow.

I remember someone here actually used a pic of my P3 taken for AMDWorld in their sig and I had to speak to them - was that you?

nope,
I had much the same setup, one PSU for system and one for fans and the cd/dvd drives.

There we go, the case was originally blue, but the green model is just the people packaging who could not hold it in.

ah yes...the asus vimto as we call em which is an anagram for vomit

what about the coolermaster Ammobox? they look kinda coo, anyone got some detailed pics of them?

Erm, please buy a Vento instead, ok maybe not that bad but the Ammo is not awfully good, its just a cheap shell designed to appeal to younger builders or people after a gaming case, as an actual case it is quite poor.

Sub £100 the PC7+II if you could still get one or the new G7, K60 and A15. :D
