Dunno if its really linked with x-files but everyone i think associated it with x-files with the tone in the tune for some reason.

It's nothing to do with X Files nor does anyone I've ever met associate it with X Files.

The X Files Theme by Mark Snow was released. You should have meant that.

But it's got to be said Children is by far the better song than the X-Files theme even if it was selected for the wrong reasons.
