What's the oldest component in your current rig?

a pair of samsung dvd drives and my hdd are all over three and a half years old. bought along with an enermax noisetaker 600w that i finally retired this week.

People still call computers "rigs" do they? Having heard that in a long time :p

Oldest component in my 6 month old HP system is....6 months.

Forgot all about my floppy drive (as i never use it) i robbed that from my very first PC so must be over 6 years old.

My case is an Antec 180p variant made for Panrix Computers, a local OEM manufacturer that went bust in 2002. Since it's stamped with the Panrix logo (despite saying "Antec design" inside), the case must be at least 6 years old.

Up until last week I had a floppy drive in there that came from a 166MHz Pentium Pro that I bought used for £50 back in 2001. Got rid of it as I never used it. Like ever. At all. (Thought I was tempted to keep it just so I can occasionally take ancient 90s games down from my shelf!:D)

The plastic on my FDD looks a bit faded. I can't recall how old it is, but it was old when I last used it and that was 5 years ago.

Ah, wait a mo. It was part of the replacement PC after I was burgled. So it's about 10 years old.

My PSU's old....21st of July 2004. It's its birthday next week! That was a good buy.
