What's the technical name for content that move's with the page?

I'm considering experimenting with a navigation div that moves as you scroll the page. Plenty of websites have it but what's the technical name for it so I can do some research into the best way to do it?

Edit: Eep yes there's a random apostrophe in the title

You probably will if you want it to work in IE6
