Doesn't really count as it was only a concept, but the Honda Fuya Jo has...errm, interesting styling.

My parents had a HRV but black with all the options ticked, i thought it looked quite good if a little bland (no surprise there coming from japan

). Designed to appeal to the 4x4 school runs

The Multipla was also my first thought. In fact, most Fiat's seem to be ugly.

I used to hate old Citroens, what was that particularly horrible model they did?

Completely agree. The single worst thing I have ever seen. As for some of the other suggestions in this thread, whilst they may be boring in design, they're not offensively ugly.

I think the Wagon R's have 2 plate locations for the wheel chair accessible versions. Probably to save money, thats a total non-educated guess though.

Doesn't matter whether or not it's a good car the Multipla is FUgly especially in that Pleghm green colour. It gets my vote as the ugliest mass produced car with that gadawful US based car that looks like a hurse that's melted and shrunk in the sun, I forget it's name.

Oi! Leave the Multipla alone.

It was a fresh piece of design with a purpose. I far prefer the original to the mashed up facelift where they cack handedly grafted on the boring nose from the MPV Punto thing. The high base to the windscreen makes it look all wrong. So in conclusion - better a Multipla than a fat arsed Renault Megane.

The fugly award...
In third place : The Ford Scorpio. How to mess up a perfectly decent Granada. Way ahead of it's time!
Second place : Pontiac Aztec. It proved in extreme circumstances even the Americans have taste. The only time it looked less than horrific was in Dark Angel.
And the winner is : The Ssangyong Rodius. WTF were they thinking? I really want to try whatever they were smoking! My cat was sick this morning, and his half digested breakfast looked better than a Rodius.
