What's the worst game you have ever bought ?

tbh, Altered Beast is one of the greatest games ever. Especially on co-op.
 
I wonder how many games some people posting here have ever bought... posting big titles from the last couple of years? either you're trying to get a rise out of someone or have only bought 3-4 games in your life tops.

I could follow that method and say STALKER... I bought it tried on umpteen occasions to play it, only ever doing the first mission and uninstalling it in disgust from the amount of boredom it provoked in me. But it wasn't by any meanst he worst game I have ever bought and I can fully appreciate the production value and time that went into producing it however rough around the edges it ended up.

On the PC, I can say that the ONLY game I have ever returned to a shop for just being awful to the point of unplayability was Star Trek Starfleet Command 3. Not sure if I would rate it as my worst.

The game I have been most dissapointed in would probably be Sin Episodes: Emergence... not that I didn't like the game, a little short but action packed and gave me something to do over the weekend, but the idea of buying episode 1 of a series that would never come to be left a bitter after taste. Even as valve as proven, episodic gaming doesn't work and you're diluding yourself if you think you can pull it off, but atleast they got to episode 2.
 
Warhammer 40k: Fire Warrior. Bought it ignoring the reviews as I was curious to see what a WH40k FPS would be like.

It was proper crap. Like a FPS from 10 years earlier. I realised why the devs chose Tau as the playable race, because their boxy guns fit in perfectly with the pathetically low poly count in the graphics design...
 
Juiced 2 must be one of the latest. Fahrenheit was very poor and boring. Rayman raving rabbids waspretty poor too. Didn't think much of just cuase either. Resident evil 4 was very disapoiting only scary thing about it was the control system. Thier all I can think of right now.
 
spec ops back in the day. was a delta force II junkie so bought anything akin without realising the carp that was about!

I bought Dune (the 3rd person one) for my bro after he loved the books and the game Emperor, jeez i felt guilty for that!
 
Oh god, You've reminded me of the worse game I ever bought, and it was Spec Ops II lol. Was truly an awful game. I think I only installed it twice, first time I got bored VERY early on, and 2nd time because I was curious lol.
