saw a similar thread on the gaf, and thought it'd be a bit of fun to see what the guys of ocuk consider their worst game they've ever played. :D

For me it has to be Dragons Lair for the NES. Ugh. I couldn't even make it past the first screen on this steaming pile of dog dirt. It was so frustrating !! I don't think I ever went back to it.

I played Blade on the ps1 for 5 mins and then turned it off. That was pretty brutal. Even Postman Pat on the C64 was better than that!

To be honest, I don't think I've ever played a really crap game because I've been avoiding the ones with overwhelmingly negative reviews.

Out of those that I have played, I'd really have to think long and hard to name the worst offenders but I'll try later;p

There's some good suggestions already ! I think the nes had a hell of a lot of games that were considered way too hard or just generally rubbish in the first place.

Dragons lair stood out for me, but there are also others like The Simpsons, Bart vs the Space Mutants. Back then I loved the Simpsons and hearing that a game was also out for the nes. I had to have it ! Little did I know it was an extremely difficult game with stupid mechanics and motives (firing rockets to hit a bird sat on a statue rings a bell! Or to smash an apartment window!)

Haha, I loved that game!! I seem to recall the jumping was a nightmare though.

Hmm.. Tough one, I've played some absolute steamers over the years but I'd probably pick X-Files on the PlayStation, hated that game and traded it in the next day.

Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins on the PSP. I wasn't a fan of the original back in the day, but a "friend" thought it amusing to lend it to me anyway. Think I played endured about 5 minutes of it before giving up.

Alpha Protocol. A stealth game where the controls didn't work right so trying to play stealthily was nigh on impossible.

Genuinely can't think of one. The last terrible game I played was Mafia 3, but surely not the very worst...

Really ? I can think of a fair few.

Ephemeral fantasia on ps2, was absolutely dire. It was an rpg. Which looped the day over and over for five days. It really was cack. Wishing I didn't blind buy it haha.

Also, I don't remember much about this game because again, I blind bought it, and it turned out terrible (I was on a bit of an rpg binge when I was younger ) it was like an action rpg. All I remember is wandering around a castle not knowing what the hell I was supposed to be doing lol.
