I got a 3g sim card when I got an upgrade and contract renewell. My girlfriend just got a new contract too and they told her to activate it?

I just put my old sim card in my new N73. Do I need the 3G card? What is it?

The N73 is a 3G phone hence they've sent you a 3G sim card along with it. You need to 3G sim card to be able to use the 3G services (faster internet access, video calling etc).

How do I use the 3G sim? It doesn't come up with a network when I put it in the phone.

Does it make using the internet cheaper? O2 charges for data so it would be just the same right?

You'll need to phone O2 to activate the 3G SIM card. Your old one will then become deactivated. If you keep your contacts on your SIM card then make sure you copy them across to the phone first.

Don't think theres any price difference for 3G data compared to GPRS, but its worth checking the O2 site just in case.
