This picture was taken at a friends house and he doesn't know what it is ??

He thinks it's a black widow and I think it's a false widow.

Please guys out in the OcUK world what the hell is it?

Does look like a false widow.

I thought they were still pretty harmless, although can turn nasty if you are allergic.

Nothing like a black widow in terms of danger.

There is a primary substation I have to work in called Iron bridge which is apparently very very infested with false widow spiders. I don't like spiders at all, I'm fine with capturing them in a glass and putting them outside but I cant touch them.

From what I hear they bite you but are not able to kill you? I don't want to go to Iron bridge
