Whats up with Sol?

That's just disgusting, I've got no symapthy for him whatsoever
He deserves all the stick he's gonna get from the terraces if he dares to take the field again.
I mean, why would you?

for a premiership player of his calibre and wage

knocking boots with a woman like that is truly shocking and UNFORGIVABLE

His kind of wage can buy you a lot of PR. Rumours of what some of the papers are going to print surface and suddenly there's stories of him being with multiple women (and i use the word in the broadest possible sense after seeing those pics!) not really shocking stuff.

It is also quite funny how people will usually only believe what they want to believe. If Sol had come out and said he was gay then people would be like "I told you so" but it turns out to be something else and people are thinking it is his PR people putting a spin on things. You can never win with some people.....

Though I'm not suprised he is depressed, with all the money and fame he finds birds who look old enough to be his mother. For crying out Tony Adams pulled a girl like Caprice(sp?) so Sol should do better ;)

Solomon has realised he isn't getting his World Cup spot in the first team. He still had hope, but it was a real outside shot BEFORE that performance.

Is that it?

What a load of fuss about nothing...or has the NOTW been gagged?
Or maybe, as I've been saying all along, they never had a story to begin with, and have spread lies to sell a few extra papers? ;) Anyone who bought the NotW on the basis of a big Sol secret deserves the non-story they ended up with.

As for Sol, I'm actually kind of disappointed that there's no big scandal. Even though I defended hi on Thursday, if he stormed off and left the team because of no more than a bit of women trouble, then he's lost a lot of respect from me. As for the team, he could well end up as fourth choice in defence now, given his woeful form. He can't play next to Senderos, and Phil's much better at the moment, so it's more likely to be him and Kolo at the back for us now, with Djourou as backup, unless Sol bucks his bloody game up.

I think maybe it just everything adding up and taking its toll on him. He has lost his England place, his form is deserting him and on top of that he has personal problems. His form has been pretty poor for quite a few months now so I think it has all been building up and against West Ham he hit rock bottom.

He will be alright though.....

Next time I have a few bad days at work and some trouble with my three girlfriends think I might ask my boss for some time off! Don't think he will be as understanding as Mr Wenger!

Personally I think those calling for him to be axed from the World Cup squad may be a bit premature - there are still over 3 months of the season left for him to prove himself against the elite of England/Europe. I'm not suggesting that he should command a place in the first XI, but if he plays well over the coming months I think it would be a bit harsh to omitt him from a 23 man squad on the basis of a mid-season slump in form. In the opinion of myself and many others, he was one of England's best 3 players in both of the last two tournaments.

Don't forget he actually ousted Rio from the team earlier in the season when he was going through his dopey spell, but then got injured allowing the MU man back in. We've got room for 5 CBs in the squad given that Carragher is more of a utilty cover player.

This is getting beyond a joke, we now have 6 defenders injured and two more are away on international duty.

Imagine how Chelsea would cope with Terry, Gallas, Carvallho, Bridge, Del Horno, Ferreria, Johnson and Huth all unavailable....
