Hi OCUK

possibly looking to update my computer. I will mainly be using it for running virtual machines (labs for security) and some casual gaming

my current system:
Win 10
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K, cooler Prolimatech-Megahalems
RAM:16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 - GSkill F3-2400C11D-16GXM
MOBO: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z87X-OC-CF
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (EVGA)
Storage: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB & Hitachi 500GB HDS725050KLA360
PSU: Be Quiet Power zone Z1 850w

I have a Coolermaster HAF 932 thats a bit big and a Antec 300 case that I may possibly move to but if I keep the CPU cooler it may not fit.

What would you keep and what would you replace to brig this machine up to spec. Budget around £500 and I don't care if I use AMD or Intel kit. I also have a NAS so not looking to have huge amounts of storage.

Thanks

Graphics card is certainly good for casual gaming especially if you're not playing the heaviest games.
SSD is also good to go and for example in gaming etc wouldn't loose really any to fastest NVMes.
Though if you've got VMs with lots of storage activity NVMe could help there.

Antec 300 should fit 160mm high CPU cooler, so there's plenty of choise in there.
That BeQuiet uses second tier capacitors, but with that sizing should be good for few years, unless running like 24/7.
