What's wrong with me?

I had to drive to Birmingham yesterday and, feeling crap, I took my father's Passat instead of the Elise as I wanted some comfort.

I enjoyed it :( It was nice driving a quiet, comfortable car with some torque again.

What's next? A pipe and slippers? A 5 series?

Take the passat through some empty country lanes and see if you still think that :D

I gave it a blip of the throttle past Hethel Engineering buildings once or twice ;)

And now the temp display on the STACK is playing up
On a normal day I'm sure I'd have noticed you but the cheeky swines expected me to do some work today. I mean... WTF

I'm thinking of quitting in protest :p

So was it a tour round the factory you went for? Never been near the Lotus place myself :(

Pah!

Yes, we pootled about the production line. Pretty similar to any other small volume, hand built car plant really, but nice to see my car's heritage. There were a large number of Europas being built so they're obviously selling quite well.

No fun and frolics on the test track then ;)

I'd be interested to have a look actually. Might have to speak to a few people and see if I can blag myself a look round.

No, some Korean/Chinese/Japanese TV crew seemed to be reviewing the Europa on the track while we were there. :(

As far as I know, the tours are open to the public, you just need to book. Speak to Annette Lancaster at Lotus.
