Whats wrong with My toilet's flush system?

Hi i was wondering if you can advice on a small issue.

Basically the toilet no longer flushes properly. When i push the handle down, all that happens is that the water trickles down. There is water in the tank but it never flushes properly.

Any advice? i try to keep pushing the lever down simultaneously and it use to work that way but not anymore.

Diaphragm is shot, get a new one for under £1 at any DIY place.

Or the metal S shaped pin that links the flush lever to the flush mechanism is stretched or knackered.

Pop the lid off and take a look, you'll be able to see where the level pulls the mechanism up. Pull it yourself and see how much travel it has/needs to flush (if it does). Else diaphragm time.

Oh and stop taking massive dookies.
