What's your average speed?

generally speaking its 40-60 mph as on motorways i sit at 60-65 for the better economy and am normally not in a hurry. When convoying to the top gear test track however I was more like 84mph

I think he is specifically asking for the average speed on your onboard computer, not how fast you usually drive. The reason for this is that you'd often be very suprised at quite how low the figure is, even after a drive you'd consider to have been quite spritely..

On my 330i it's around 24 MPH.

I have always been amazed at how low this speed is even after a long motorway run at 70.

well never thought what mine might be, i do lead foot it qiute a bit, and with a 155 mph top speed thought it might be quite high, wrong 22mph wtf, thats over the last 1500 miles on the trip computer, might have to reset it, fill up the tank and blitz up and down the bypass till the tanks empty, to make me feel better about myself.

Since I got the Mondeo I've done around 17K at an average of 30mph.

I averaged just 17mph in my Alfa. Cannot remember if the Mondeo shows average speed, the MX-5 definitely doesn't.

No, actually about 14k!

Expecting just under 20k every year, will keep it 3-4 years and then trade it in for something newer (probably another 3) before it hits 100k.

29.1mph, on my mazda 3 2.0 usually sat on a busy A road doing 60 then some B roads.

48.6 mph over the last 702 miles at 72.3mpg. Been drving like a granny on the motorway as the tracking rod on the left hand side is a bit loose (have secured it) and not had a chance to replace it yet. Also had a trip to Gatwick and back from Leeds which helped. Before that it was around the 38/39mph range.
