I sold my NAD THX amps and a Nakamichi Tape Deck to buy the Computer. And your right, THX on pc speakers is nothing compared to Hi-Fi. Would not like to put a 240v/130w transformer in pc. Stupid thing runs so hot at mo.

I had megaworks 550 speakers and they sounded ok but they no where near sounded the £230 retail price. Im now running a cambridge A1 and some old (bit good) technics speakers. Im much more impressed with the sound.

For the same price as some pc speakers you could get a amp, some speakers and a sub
