What's your definition of down to earth?

Hello all,

the recent "why do people like you" thread has got me thinking about the term "Down To Earth"

My definition is someone who is:

easy going
open minded
honest
funny

What's your definition?

I disagree with your definition. I think its not being pretentious. Being honest, humble and dependable.

"Down to Earth" is what people are when they have no aspirations

Nah... I suppose I think of it as not living in a dream world, actually getting things done and realising who they are.

I really am just wondering what peoples definitions of it are.
