whats your favorite 3 PC games off all time ?

got to be:

1)Star Trek the Next Generation: Bith of the Federation (what a looser i am!)
2)Counter Strike Beta 3
3)Civilisation 3.

Then theres a list as long as both my arms!
 
ET - love playing this game esp with some of the guys from OcUK

thief - one and two - atmospheric to max

op flashpoint - stuck it out to the end which is always a good sign and all the addon packs

Freespace 2 (Best space combat sim ever!)
Battlefield 2
Test Drive Unlimited

Played Offline:

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Elite 2: Frontier
Civilisation (all)

1. Quake2 (online, wireplay community was brilliant)
2. Duke Nukem 3D (online, wireplay community was brilliant)
3. Not sure :( nothing really lives up to the above for me.
 
only 3!? aww i wanna pick loads.lol

games i've clocked the most hours on would be
1) CS
2) Guild Wars
3) Championship/football manager

but id say my 3 favourite games are

1) Red alert 2. i must have completed this well over 25 times, still not boring in any way at all. an absolute classic.

2) Half Life. Another absolute classic that can be played over and over.

3) CounterStrike 1.5 and 1.6 .This was a very tough call between cs and guildwars for the number 3 spot but as addictive as guildwars is i think its more just addictive than actually fun, whereas cs whether pwning n0obZ on public or playing at a high level competitively its so fun. been playing over 4 years, still not bored so must be doin summat right.lol
 
I'm surprised Hitman: Blood Money gets a few mentions, i never really 'got' it. Thats the good thing about a thread like this, i might re-install it and give it another go. I only played through a couple of levels but just remember things like "drag the body into that box" .....drags body.... "strangle man with wire" .... stangles man... etc. I will play it again now!
 
First up I'm going to count my favorite game (final fantasy 7) as Playstation only. With that in mind heres mine:

1: Deus Ex
2: SW: Galatic Battlegrounds (plus expansion)
3: Civilization 4 (plus expansions)

Far Cry and Mafia just lost out unfortunately but still excellent games.
