Comic sans is absolutely terrible, I have no idea why it even exists never mind how people can say it's their favourite :confused:

Garamond any day of the week.
everything formal that I write, I write in Garamond, unless it's a technical document, in which case it's Arial.

For me at least, a printed font is very different to on screen.

It depends on what is dominant - the background or the font. Personally for me, the Kindle screen means the font is dominant and that is closest to print.

Why Arial? because most technical documents are requested in Arial or Times New Roman, and Serif-Fonts in a technical document is massive fail.

And yes, most books would look outstanding in Garamond, which is the best font when printed in my opinion.

The lowercase 'e' is pretty much identical, but I think it's a custom typeface that was designed for them (people call it Leitz-norm or LG 1050).

Agree with above, I use Garamond for all my essays, it's just so elegant.
