Whats your GOTY so far?

There have already been so many big hitters across pc and console this year. With that said What s the best so far.

For me it would be Zelda breath of the wild for pure immersion/inventiveness.

And story I would say Rakuen on PC.

Resident Evil 7 in VR was also brilliant.

I'd give an honourable mention to Resi 7 for sure. It was super strong at the start but the 2nd half fell apart, for me (not played VR)

For me it's easily PUBG.

Awesome game that gets the heart racing and the adrenaline pumping like nothing I've ever played before.

Certainly one I forgot when making this post, however I've not played enough of it yet, it's clear to see it's potential, let's hope they stay on track and don't mess it up

I could tell HZD was a good game I just couldn't get into it, then Zelda came along and I couldn't go back

PUBG, best £28 I've spent in ages,
Dirt 4 isn't quite there though it is an amazing game.
GR Wildlands, OK but nothing special
DOW3, mistake, i'd have refunded it if i hadn't got it off CDKeys.

Its been a quiet year so far really.

I'd have to say PUBG currently. Though its been a quiet year with many of the big name titles flopping or turning out to be very average. This year AAA has pretty much stood for An Average Attempt.

I think prey is going to be one in a few years that people start to appreciate more, at the moment it seems a bit like marmite from the outside looking in. Nier sounds like one I have to play, but isn't it a bit of a mess on pc currently?

Same for me, though I'd also throw in Yakuza: Zero which takes it for the sheer fun factor. In terms of story/music/uniqueness and overall execution it's Nier hands down. Between Horizon and Zelda, the latter grips me more so far. It's just fantastically fun to play and the world is immense.

All brilliant games though and wouldn't want to miss out on any of those.

That's Zelda in a nutshell, fun. Just fun!

Where I struggled with horizon was it's similarities to Far cry gameplay wise and the story being too serious at the time for me
