1.6 fsi golf, mainly short runs, 39.5 is what its telling me.

Normally average mid 50's but since filling up i've spent 90% of my time on the motorway and it's sat at 63.9 mpg on the current tank.

I was getting 39mpg, but after fitting a new thermostat I'm up to 46!

Chuffed is not the word.

currently averaging 66.5 MPG in my diesel Toyota Yaris on the commute to work.

Then averaging 27 MPG in my Impreza That's soon to drop drastically now its my weekend toy and not my daily driver.

Over a period of 1 month i got:

week 1: 33
Week 2: 43
Week 3: 32
Week 4: 39

This is doing 32 miles a day in a 1.6 Kia Cerato, no motorways in the country side.
The weeks that are low, I changed gear as I wanted and did 70 were allowed, the weeks were I got the highest, I changed gear around 2-2.5k and never went over 60mph...
