What's your pick for x570?

Whilst 2.5G and 10G LAN is an interesting prospect for the future it's simply not cost effective in a home environment when you start looking at compatible products to transfer to (Switches, NAS etc). That being said, I hate using anything but Intel LAN as have had plenty of issues with Broadcom etc in the past. Even with a 2.5G port available on the Master I'll be using the Intel GBe port.

Having had a further look it seems the Gigabyte Elite looks a better option in that respect as it places the PCIe x1 slots better than the Gigabyte Gaming X so that both PCIe x1 slots look usable. That would allow for separate NIC expansion later if need be.

I seen reviews saying they can hear the chipset fan, maybe that's why the price drop ?
I would want a silent pc , like all my other fans on PSU /Gpu don't start/ ramp up tell heavy load
so nice & silent while browsing & watching a movie

That's why I am torn between getting a X470 Taichi or waiting until someone has stock on the Gigabyte Xtreme as silence is high on my priorities.

I've just had to delete a load of posts due to competitor info & prices being thrown around, this is strictly against the forum rules!

See my post above yours. Just following Gibbo’s recommendation in the CPU section... I only repeated his recommendation.
