What's your private sector payrise?

12% just got the email today, our salary review is always from July, was about 10% last year

If your employer gives you the option the it's more efficient to push the bonus directly into your pension (0% tax).

Hmm something to ask about next week, though I was planning on spending this year's bonus on upgrading our Sonos system. :)

Nothing so far this year, and I don't expect that to change.

I changed jobs last year for a 20% bump, and shortly after joining they did away with their bonus scheme, but to sweeten the deal deal they bumped everyone's salary, so I'm about 40% up since a year ago.

Last year we picked up about 13% with a 1k one of payment in the summer and another at xmas. Think about £800 bonus this April and a couple of % payrise over the last month.
We're fairly well paid and looked after, prior to covid we usually picked up between 2-3% a year.

Very similar here or significant changes within current role... Yet public sector workers complaining with their obscene pensions

Oh yeah the pensions are amazing. The moaning doesn't wash with me. So many benefits!
