... for when someone walks behind you at work and you have to quickly minimise the forums or ALT-TAB out?!

Mine's Outlook. Full screen it looks like I'm busily reading emails whereas I'm silently waiting until the person has walked past so I can read the latest relationship thread gossip...

New tab in Firefox or the classic Windows Key + D and start browsing My Computer/Random directory ;)

I have multiple monitors, vmware server and microsoft virtual desktop manager running. No worries :p.

Apart from when you're distracted by lots of attractive models whilst shopping for lingerie of course.

Outlook and Excel are the best. But in my office, no-one really cares or takes any notice, not even the boss. *shrug* Hoorah for temping.

I use All in one gestures - down and right closes the tab :)

I also usually have two firefox windows open - one for the work I am doing and one for other stuff.

Visio or ControlES, that way all the mouse moving and clinking on websites is explained away as creating process flows rather then a typing heavy application.

Today its been a combination of outlook and the wonderful DVLA website I have to suffer through.

I was gonna start a thread like this after reading platypus's troubles earlier, but thought it might be a little too dull for a Friday. :p

PK!

I had a program once, can't remember the name, but basically it gave you two desktops. On one you would have all thngs like firefox and MSN open, then with a key combo, it takes you to a second one where you can run outlook and work stuff. And only the things from that desktop show in the bar at the bottom and system tray. So they can't just say 'lets see what's in that window' because your firefox window would be hidden.

Lotus Notes. Or just switch to our corporate home page where I'm busy reviewing the latest procedural or financial updates, often nodding sagely for extra effect.
