Ooooo errr ! Only have Vista on my laptop and it's 6.22.... But I've seen months of it running at 9.7+

TBH I've got Vista nicely tuned but the figure is low due to instances where apps fail on network outages.

It's a little misleading but thanks for pointing out perfmon as it's nicer that reading the event log

a lot of crashes from hl2.exe on exit as well which brought the score down I guess.

And because your hardware tests stable, it must be Vista's fault for any possible failures? Try looking at drivers or dodgy software before blaming the OS .

That crash seems to be fixed with TF2 recently though and that's about the only hl2.exe game I regularly play so the Reliability score is on the up.

Is it a laptop? SideShow is a feature that, when integrated with the correct hardware, allows you some limited interactivity with the computer while it's powered down. Never seen nor used it in real life. Might want to look into whether it's disabled/enabled somewhere. Strange.
