Whats your Vista Reliability Index score?

Are there two scores available (Performance and Reliability)

I have only just finsihed installing Ultimate OEM late last night and I woke up this morning to a score of 1.0 , installing the 8800GTX drivers allowed that to rise to 6.9 I seem to recall (at work now)

One thing I found too good to be true is that seemingly all my mobo drivers (for a 680i BFG board) were installed during OS install (certainly no question marks in Device Manager as you would normally expect)

Still trying to get the best out of the board, my C2D 6400 is currently only on 2.5GHz even though I know its capable of 3.1GHz +

Any idea what caused it or why it happens? Windows XP 64-bit runs fine. :(

I'd say it was probably an incompatible hardware problem that the Vista advisor didn't know about. I'd plonk for my Terratec sound card, but it was a good excuse to blow £1300 for a new pc! :D

Installed 1st feb

9.17

Reason is Vista couldnt find the driver for the card reader and had to manually install it and IE7 stopped responding once.

Right what services is the reliability monitor dependant on? I've turned off a few and it doesn't appear to be recording any stats.

Not that I'll use them anyway, but I'd like to know why it's doing it.

Hope no one minds but I'm going to bump my q 'cause it's still bugging the hell out of me.

5.66 :(

Had a couple of weird issues, my TFT goes on standby and when I try to resume the screen has gone all strange and broken up and I have to hard reset and the other is getting Media Player errors in iTunes causing the latter to crash to desktop. Don't happen a lot so I ain't really bothered.

9.24... 5-day install of x64 so far. It's fairly minimalistic though, only things installed are Firefox/Thunderbird, uTorrent, ATi drivers etc. I haven't stuck iTunes on yet due to there being reported problems.

My loss was due to Vista not wanting to wake up from sleep (I physically have to turn the PSU off to flush the RAM!).

highest i've had in the list anyway is 6.16, its like 2.5 now, because lotro is unstable as hell and crashes on me a few times a day, well lotro crashes, its 99% down to nvidia drivers though. some failed installs, ati tool, couple other things but its almost all crashes from drivers. the latest nvidia's, well, seemed ok but they aren't :p

got a nice x1950pro to put in, might do that today, if i dont' get any crashing well, nvidia have won again , woo :p

the scoring is a bit harsh. my install is still only 9 days old, had a perfect 10 for the first 5days. then on day 6 apparently it didn't shutdown properly - i didn't notice a problem but my score went down to 9.17. i've since had 3 perfect days with no problems but the score only increases by ~0.05 at a day. it would take months for people to get back to 10 from a low score. :p
