What's your weight and height?

Wow! That must throw your metabolism all over the place. You poor bugger :( It's not very good for you either :(
It's not the best! I need to exercise a lot to keep my weight down. And (with the exception of this week where I'm house-sitting) I don't actually eat a lot/bad food. I'm just tooooo lazy to exercise daily, which I really need to be doing. Annoying when all my mates eat 5-6 times what I eat and are slim gits! :D

What's normal fluctuation FF? 4-5lb's?

Well if you're a healthy individual just maintaining weight, doing exercise, eating well, with a good all round lifestyle, your bodyweight shouldn't fluctuate more than 6lbs throughout the year. Of course we all have moments where we go a bit mad, and we will have more or less water retention depending on our diets, mental health and activity.

Weight varying by 3st up AND down is not healthy over a period of a year. Steady weight loss, is great. Steady weight gain, is actually better for you than huge and violent fluctuations in weight changes. Obviously if you're gaining weight owing to fat, that's not so good. :)

I am gaining weight, but gaining little fat or dropping fat at the same time so that's good, though very very very difficult to do, which is why progress is so slow.

That's why I'm against the whole bulking / cutting that people talk about - it's not a healthy way of gaining/losing weight as it throws your metabolism and can cause more long term damage/stress on your body, including thyroid and diabetic issues.
