Beat that! :D

DAF XF 105 - 44ton HGV - (07 Plate) a few hours spent "shunting" trailers around the depot I work at followed by a trip to Chorley (Lancashire) and back to Cheshire....

Distance: Almost exactly 300 miles, non stop.
Time: About 4 hours 15 minutes.
Average speed: Just over 70mph.

I know, I know, I'm bad.

Ive spent several hours covering around 2 miles across london due to loads of roadworks and an accident around angel about a month back. I averaged about 3-4mpg and about 0.5mph.

Long distance like that though, doubt i can beat it, 14mph is pretty special :p

Dont know my worst but my best

Distance: Almost exactly 150 miles, non stop.
Time: About 1 hours 30 minutes.

I am going to call BS on the grounds that this wouldnt be possible even in a Veyron given a police escort if its door to door :p

Not driving myself, but I imagine some of the black cab rides through London must be up there as slowest journey :p

I.e. Liverpool Street to Chancery Lane - 1.8 miles, 20 minutes that's, er, 5.4 miles an hour :p

Longer distance, maybe again a cab from Heathrow to Seven Sisters, took 2 hours to travel 30 miles, so about same as OP, a magnificent 15mph :p

I made a big error. :D

:p Still not bad going.

Fastest journey ive ever done stands out to me by a mile, i'd worked late (until around 11pm) in Honiton and managed to get up to J13 (Newbury) of the M4 in around 1:30. Its the only time i have ever set my cruise control well into 3 figures and actually ridden it.

It once took me 9 hours to do 40 miles when there was a massive accident on the M4 on my way to work.

Best time was 1:57 to do 198 miles. That was on a ZZR600 and included a fuel stop. 3am, back in 1995.

Yup. However I had a boot full of stuff, it was peeing down with rain, and I was stuck in the traffic so had no choice really. It's very rare that I get stuck in traffic like that but it happens.

7 miles in 7 hours on my way home from work a couple of years back when Birmingham shut down due a little bit of snow.
