When are good memory prices and availability going to return?

Cant find Dominator platinums for a decent price anywhere, OCUK are out and also out on the GSkill I would want also.

I know the Hynix fire caused prices to shoot up but any idea when things will go back to normal?
 
It's still pretty cheap. £35 for 4GB of RAM ain't that bad. Or maybe you don't remember standard DDR prices back in the day?

Don't think ram prices are actually all that bad considering, but expect a probable price rise soon for Xmas - they like to cash in....
 
I remember paying £120 to double my RAM to 8mb. I was like a dog with two tails when DX2 processors arrived.

I remember I've bought 2x4 GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 CL9 a little bit used on Ebay for 32-34 quids, ~18 months ago. It was really big luck as it was price hole, as I remember ;-)
