When are you going fully electric?

Def want solar, but no battery.
Ok, ill look at the zappi

Personally if I was to have any it would be battery.
Like most people I'd charge the battery through the night along with my EV and then run the house on 7p/Kw battery.
Looking in the thread about solar panels it seems hit and miss how much you can generate depending where you live.
Then again I'm not experienced with either so probably wrong :)

Well my days of I-Pace ownership will come to an end in the next few weeks, assuming the SS car scheme goes through ok. After testing a few options I've ordered a Polestar 4 Dual Motor Long Range with the Plus and Pilot packs. The recent experiences with the dealer, which to be polite was dire, the large increase in warranty costs and a few other things made me look at my options and the SS car scheme makes a lot of sense based on the options, costs etc. So lets try something completely different :D

Did try the Tavascan V2 and considered a Model Y AWD (which would have been cheap) but they felt like quite a step down qaulity wise from the I-Pace where the Polestar didn't and strangely was cheaper than the Tavascan but better spec'd and dual motor which made the decision much easier.

no SS deals in the German A6Etron or i5 direction ?

Just irrelevant chunder isn’t it. Like no one really cares about stats like this. “Life is too short”
'I'm sorry you haven't a clue' ? on the insurance stats 1/12 vs 1/20 accidents ev/ice seems significant. to the point where insurance costs must be limiting accessibility to younger drivers,
and manufacturers probably need to react, like more autopilot.

I've just ordered the same today (minus the pilot pack). It was on offer on my employers SS scheme a few weeks ago but I missed it. They told me it would be going back on offer and it appeared today so pulled the trigger on it.
