Just spotted this when looking to buy one online. Think I'll avoid and get a Solo3.Just spotted you’ll have to pay for 4g connectivity subscription on the Ohme after a couple of years if it was purchased after March 2020. Avoid imo, just get one that uses WiFi.
To answer your second q, no they’ll not get the charger cheaper than you. If anything a full time charge point installer is likely to have a nice mark up on their installation.
I reckon the other chap that's interested in the job will have no such issues yanking/replacing the fuse himself but let's follow the process.......
My house my rules babyThat would be illegal.
My house my rules baby
If you read the sentence before you started to froth at the mouth you'd literally see I said:I see your ignorance is well tuned still. Good luck.

This was a joke:All I said was what you were suggesting the electrician would be doing was illegal. You then said my rules my house... implying you didn't care, but whatever end of conversation. kthnxbye.
This was a feint at a insult:My house my rules baby

Did you miss the 20 full stops and the 'but'? Or do you just think I am super dumb? All I said was what you were suggesting the electrician would be doing was illegal
The Polestar 3 is launching on October 12th - Can’t wait for this, will be placing my order ASAP
Nothing listed on the quote other than a £3.50 locknut and a £33 switch.Does your charger require any extras installed? I.e. pen fault protection, RCA B etc
To be fair the other chap was £520 for the consumer unit and £150 for the car charger - so balances out.Podpoint Solo3? That's a pretty easy unit to install as well, just straight into an MCB (with type A RCD) or RCBO. If they are doing a consumer unit change, that's a couple of hours work assuming the cable run is fairly straight forward at the most.
That said £150 sounds too cheap, its probably £50 worth of cable and a few sundries needed.
It's only sale of new ICE cars. If you own one or buy a second hand car you'll still be able to buy petrol for it.What happens come 2030 when combustion cars are banned? Will they stick petrol at 3 quid or more a litre to force people to go electric?
I think his point is that when demand for petrol becomes near-0, how much will it cost for those of us that still want our petrol cars. It's only sale of new ICE cars. If you own one or buy a second hand car you'll still be able to buy petrol for it.
That will be years and years awayI think his point is that when demand for petrol becomes near-0, how much will it cost for those of us that still want our petrol cars.
