when did you 1st use ocuk....

I found the site not long after it had started (I think) as I was looking for a new heatsink and fan for a k6-2 processor.

After I received a rather rude response to an enquiry about a different product (after having no problems with my first order) I didn't use them for a while.

Few years later I placed my first order for £600 worth of stuff, but again I fell foul of the legendarily bad customer service of OcUK in the early days and was forced to move part of my order elsewhere.

I then didn't use them again until 2006 when I took another chance, this time the order didn't progress so smoothly but a pleasant suprise was that the customer service is now top notch and have pointed other people in their direction since.

I placed my first order in July 2005, which was in fact my 1st build which I'm still using to this day & I can tell you that I spent £1038 with them
Joined the forums a few months latter.

Yewen in particular has been amazing for me at resolving any issues with my orders. *raises glass* Cheers mate.

About 9 years ago now, i've spent far far too much money both personal and business at OCUK, going on my usual spends of 1 - 1.5k personal and about 4k business (per year) (Past 4 years for company use) thats over 25K!

either 1999 or 2000, been a forum member since then too, back when you could email spie to request "this week only"

i use ocuk a fair ammount, but free shipping on another place gets my custom if i'm just buying 1 item

Twas back in the day. Like a few others I bought a bundle containing a 800Mhz Duron overclockable to 1Ghz. It came with a Abit KT7A-Raid mobo and a Thermoengine heatsink - that thermoengine was a beast!
Although if anyone else remembers the thermo was one of the ones that didn't have the drilled out core (unlike the early ones - mine just had a stamp to make it look like it was drilled) :-( so my cooling performance was not as 1337 as it should have been!

KT7a raid, that was my board i got with my D750 > 950 as well.

how long did it last? am guessing it would have been from the same era as mine with the crappy caps onboard
