when do you start playing with other CPU voltages like CPU VTT ?

Hi doing a overclock at the weekend on my Q6600 on a Abit IP35 Motherboard. I plan to upp the FSB and work my through all the diffrent voltages unitll my PC is stable.

Now what confuses me is when I should start playing around with other voltages like VTT , should I increae these straight a way ??

any tips on when to upp VTT etc would be apprecaited!

The only time I up voltages aside from CPU or NB is when I read a guide on overclocking my mobo that reccomends it.

Leaving voltages to auto is often discorreged. Higher voltage = higher temp = (potentially) lower overclock + shorter lifespan of components.

Yeh, but it's too complex lol, hard to find info on voltages as it's very dependant on your setup. I thought higher voltages give you a higher overclock?

I'll do a little research on what a good voltage is for my mobo.
