When does Lost start again?

I've just started watching Series 1, I've seen the first two episodes and they were great :D Just waiting for the rest of them now :)

I was out with a few friends last night and we got onto talking about TV shows. One of the guys asked what is all this Lost, 24 and Heroes stuff.

We just had to shake our heads at him for where has he been.

Yea Lost maybe starting later but it is ending at the same time i.e. no long annoying breaks in the middle. personally i prefere it this way

Your two servers are the only one's I play on :)

I wondered the same a couple of weeks ago and read that the US channel were still deciding when to start it and January was looking good. There will NOT be the annoying breakafter six episodes.
But there will only be 16 episodes per season (instead of 24) for the next 3 seasons (then it ends). So it's essentially 2 seasons split over 3 years.

It was every wednesday for the last season

I think it was to do with the way the broke the season up.

They showed the first 6 eps then had a 3 month break then showed the rest of the series. This is the way they do it for most yank shows, but the difference is that lost runs together a lot more than other US shows I have seen. The episodes lead in to one another and the story is not so self contained.

This makes it harder to follow if there is a huge break in it. Plus the slow boring pace of season 2 probably put everyone off season 3 anyway.

off topic: thanks mate appreciate it a lot of works goes into them :)

At the moment im not too concerned about Lost as all my other favourate programs have started so im content for now :)

When I've got a few weeks off I intend to sit down and watch every single episode of Lost, and write down all the different mysteries, things we have yet to find out etc etc. Unless the writers are very very clever I think the way Lost ends is going to be a big disappointment.

Example 1 of things they are going to have to find an explanation for: Hurley winning the lottery with the numbers.

Example 2: Locke being able to walk, recovering from an apparently fatal gunshot wound, Rose recovering from cancer. Billions of pounds have been spent researching treatments and cures for her cancer with no success - til she lands on an island and is suddenly cured! How on earth do they explain that?

I'm waiting for the whole 'Jack wakes up and it was all a dream' thing.

Theres no denying its nicely filmed, it just turned into a bit of a soap opera later on. Corrupted by its own sucess, if they had filmed it all before broadcast it would been superior I reckon, like condensed soup :p'

A couple of us on here predicted Locke would be back with avengence, I thought that was fairly easy to see/guess and it doesnt have to be supernatural to be remarkable

It was rumoured that Virgin have snapped up the rights to the next series of Lost to headline their new Virgin Central channel that is ironically replacing Sky One, any truth in that?

This is the best scene of Lost, nothing beats it:

I love that scene and would have had no problems if that had ended Season 1.

I miss the hatch, and I hope that the events of the hatch implosion/explosion along with the people in Antartica will be explained more in S4.

Season 3 LOST DVD will be out within three weeks and that will cure my Lost needs till February.

Cant wait for season 4, I find myself watching the last episode of season 3 over and over again when am bored
