I beleive spring starts on the 1st march.

Dont hold your breath about the temperature though!

Mid march we usually have the first signs of spring/summer. Ie. lovely and sunny and enough warmth to sunbath just.. Great time at work. Fishplate oiling 6miles of track. Not a hard job with lots of breaks lying in the 4ft..

Well, I remember last March was particularly cold and wet.

Winter has been much milder this year, so hopefully we'll get some decent weather around late March/April.
