When is the barbecue season coming back to Britain?

I know it only lasts about two days in Britain, but WHICH two days?

I want to try out these sauces and have ago at these fish recipes directly in the fire. And if I can pluck up the nerve, I'll try this Hawaiian sand bake too!

I actually once did do a barbecue in the rain - taking advantage of the overhang to shield the barbecue itself. But as soon as the food was ready, we all ran inside!

I've BBQ'd in the snow, always BBQ time. In fact, I have a pork shoulder to do this week, come rain or shine.

I reckon there will be a heat wave next month, followed shortly by a hosepipe ban and then flooding. Get out there before you need a boat.

I was thinking of doing barbecued shark. But for that I'd need a BIGGER boat!

I agree with some of those above, all year is bbq season!! Weather isn't too much of an issue really when you're doing low and slow (unless it's really windy I suppose)

I’ve cooked Christmas dinner using my BBQs for the past 5 years, rib of beef goes in the smoker and I use my kettle for roasting, some stuff goes in the kitchen oven as well. Cooking big roasts is a hell of a lot easier with three cookers.

Yep! BBQ turkey is amazing, we inject ours with butter and cook it.

365 days a year. Takes a bit longer to warm up when it’s -30 though and if you don’t clear the snow off first it can jam up the knobs when it refreezes...

Turkey being smoked on a weber original, as done at a smoking weekend I went to last summer.

As can be seen here once it was finished, rested and sliced, it was incredibly moist and delicious!

Jet stream doesn't look in a hurry to accommodate warmer weather - if the patterns follow previous years when we've had this kind of weather disruption we'll probably get a really nice June followed by very contrasting months for the rest of the summer.
