Is there really any point of the 760/760Ti? Like are there any gaps in the current lineup for it to be placed? Its obviously not faster than 770 and if its the same speed as a 680/670 then well pointless yet again.

At the time I bought titan I was very busy so decided to sell it. Got all my money back selling it![]()
I'm back gaming a little more now, but in stead going titan I'll go 7** series SLI. It'll work out better I think. Also if this 760-760ti doesn't look good I might get a 770 lightning and buy a second later on.
That's why I might go 770 instead. I'm gonna wait until the 760's come out before I decide which one I'm getting.
If the price is cheaper for the 760Ti over the current 670, I would say for people looking to upgrade from older systems and not wanting to hit their wallets hard, yes there is a point to these. I am not sure to what category the 760 fits into (660Ti maybe?) but again, if cheaper, good for some.
Fair play and good you got your money back
The 770 is a good card and not badly priced at all. Obviously it is a 680 with faster memory modules but early reviews are liking it
If I was looking for a card now (or 2) I would deffo be hanging out for news/prices of the 760Ti....It could be a bargain for a beast with early rumours hinting at $249 (<£200 incl tax).

The 760ti is never gonna be around the £200 mark surely as the 660ti is still more than that! Im guessing around a mid to high 200. I would have thought the 760 will prob be around 200 maybe a little under
£200? nah, thinking more £250 for the ti.
haha they never actually use the exchange rate, 250 dollars will be 250 GBP, welcome to planet UK

OCUK better not do this. I'll buy elsewhere then.
Rip off britain.
Well if the US version is $249 then yeah it'll be £200. I would be very angry if they charge the same amount between the dollar and pound.
$299 for the ti and $249 for the 760. Nvidia ain't gonna have a drop of $150 from the 770 to the slightly cut down 760 ti IMO.
They buy their stock in dollars so of course the exchange rate is used.
"Rip off Britain" doesn't actually exist in the way you're hinting.
What you're talking about is retailer price gouging but that's what an open market is supposed to combat, i.e. shop around.
Absolutely this.
The GTX 770 was a decent price from $ to £ and was pretty spot on after adding tax.
Agreed, but that hasn't always been so greg.
No mate it wasn't but shrewd buyers know what is what.
