When is the nvidia 9800 due out

Middle of next year? Im near sure nvidia said they would have a 1teraflop card out for this christmas, so theyre gonna be about 6 months late. oooooh :eek:

Rumour is that they'll have a 8800GX2 out early next year as the 1Tflop card.

Hmm.. could either be not that big a PSU as they've gone down another die size with G92 (hmm are the 9800s going to be using G92?) or they might use some new die which uses wads'o'watts. All speculation at the mo tho.

I wonder though.. will the 8800GX2 that Jokester mentioned just be two GTX's (as they stand atm) bolted together or will they be some new G92 card. Ooooo!

Nope, their second GX2 card is beginning of next year, with the 9800's following later (middle of the year).

Your probably right but at least it will work on boards with the Intel chipset.

Last I heard was that nVidia were tweaking the GX2 so that it would show as a single card in Windows (and not 2 like SLi). That would be nice
