BFG are the best around in terms of service. The warranty lasts for 10 years in the UK, which no company betters as well.

With the exception of specialist items like the water cooled one you mention, their parts are the same as everyone else's. Every company has them built to the same specification, then it's just a matter of product sticker, packaging, possible factory overclocking etc.

That PSU should easily cope.

As for the stock issue, you're better off dropping a note to the shop itself, as shop staff don't read the forums that much.

Only if you contact Jeff directly when you have a problem with your BFG card :p otherwise  not so good, if you get my overly emphasised drift.

Franco_cov, it might be worth waiting for nVidia to release their GT300 range near the end of the year. Personally, that's what I would do, and I bet the performace of their next 300 quid card will be atleast 30% faster than this current GTX295.

BFG used to be the best (I have owned a few BFG cards). After reading around a lot though they seem to have gone downhill in recent years. Still, I don't think they are better or worse than other brands. Just not as excellent as they used to be.
