When returning an XBox for repair under warranty, does it come back in a proper XBox box or just wrapped in bubble wrap an put in a 'plastic bag'?

Don't send it in your original box (they do ask you not to do that).

Whatever you send it in, they send it back in a plain old white box.

Go to study
Collect bin from shredder
Throw shredding in box
Wrap console in appropriate sized plastic bag
Add more shredding on top
See if console moves
If it does - MOAR SHREDDING! :D
When console is secure close box, tape it up affix labels and call UPS :D (If they use UPS still :p)

(Nokkon should be familiar with my moar shredding approach :p)

Box with a bit of bubble wrap padded out with paper is how I sent mine just now. Any ideas on how long it normally takes to get it back?

Sent mine back to them in a plastic bag sealed with brown tape. Appropriate security for the product I feel.

Wrapped in bubble wrap the first time then filled the space up with those big air bubbles you get with a mahoosive OcUK order.

2nd time I sent it in packed in the custom made foam inserts that they send it back in to make a point. :)

MS sent me a box to send mine back in and that had cardboard sections that the 360 slotted into to secure it.

i wrapped mine in a plastic bag which was then itself wrapped in a plastic bag, which then was wrapped in another plastic bag.... (you can see where this is going)
