When stopped, which foot do you put down?

Just curious as I often see some riders put their left foot down, some choose the right, some put both flat on the ground.

Personally I tend to put the left on the ground and have the right on the brake, especially when on a hill. If I'm going to be stood for a while at traffic lights or whatever then I'll probably put both feet on the ground but hold the front brake.

How about you?

Left foot on the floor so your right foot can cover the rear brake.

When stopped for a while, knock it into neutral and straddle with both feet on the ground.

Only done cbt so far and was told you should be putting left on the floor so that you can cover the rear brake. Although i seemed to be removing both feet together and just holding the front brake untill ready to set off.

I tend to put my right down unless im on a hill then i'll put my left down and hold the rear brake with my right.

Left mostly. Depends on the situation, hill start, fast start, coasting, moving forward in a que for a roundabout etc... plus the bikes capabilities.

Left, out of habit more than anything else.

Related story - Many, many years ago our fire station's grass area used to be a designated landing area for helicopters of all sorts, mainly RAF and Navy SAR plus air ambulances. However, every so often the Queens Flight Wessex choppers used to come in and land with royalty. Prince Charlie was due in one morning and of course, security was tight with cops all over the place including the SEG. I remember as a young firey watching two SEG bikers come into the rear of the station, do a U- turn on the drill yard and stop next to an SO14 ARV. Neither of them put their feet down. They just sat there still, balanced. For at least 3 or 4 mins, then moved off. Awesome bike control.
